I cannot tell you how much I love this picture. It's brilliant in so many ways. I have a book coming out shortly about having lost my ability to think after sustaining a traumatic brain injury in an accident and I would very much love to use this picture on the cover of the book. This will be the second edition of the book, called, A Matter of Panache and the first edition was an Amazon.com bestseller in 2008. I think the second edition will reach even more people; I would love to have you listed as the cover artist.
The publisher, Bilal Choudhry, is going to contact you. If you'd like to email me, you can reach me at: firstname.lastname@example.org or if you'd like to know more about the book, please visit my website at: www.debrasanders.com.
I choose the crow because, as you said, it's said to be a symbol of wisdom as well as an omen on change, may it be a good or a bad change. Also, since in this work I was basing it on those with narrow & close-mindedness, and the crow as I read, was said to teach us of being careful of judging people mindlessly and to be careful of one's actions & opinions.
